Timber Hulls, Glass and kevlar construction. This is a Taipan F16 (Please Note,
this boat is at F16 Width)
1 year old, hit water first time November 2007, comes with Brewin Kevlar main
sail, Spinnaker kit, Beach rollers and Dotan kick up rudders. Spare tramp(grey)
Boat is set up Cat rig (for 1 person) would like to sell without trailer. If you
want trailer can be neg.
Boat has done to date 12 races only. The boat is a sister ship to 153 and 155
(Both National Champs) All 3 built by Darren Peters and James Sage.
Reason for sale Have lost all interest and need some time away from the sport.

Great boat, well looked after. All dinema lines, holt mainsheet system,
continuous jib sheet, all new ropes and pulleys. Gas ram rudder hold downs to
save your rudders from jelly fish or if you hit ground. 2 carbon tiller
extensions. Tactick compass. All ropes get sucked into front beam leaving
nothing on the trampoline. Boat steers and performs very well with 2 first
places In QLD State titles last 2 years a 3rd place in NSW State titles and 4th
in recent f18 nationals, with a lot of other regatta wins. This boat is ready
to race nothing to do to be up the front of the fleet just jump on and sail no
tuning required. Full lycra covers. Euro trax wheels, new fully battened jib,
good main and Norths spinnaker.

Kevlar/glass hulls, pentax mainsail and jib, also mylar jib. NOT big head main.
Carbon foils and rudders, proctor adjustable spreaders. Two spare front beam
blanks plus one spare boom blank. Registered Mackay, NO TIE, galvanised trailer
with sail box and beach rollers. Excellent condition always garaged and
maintained to a high standard.
Boat is 7 years old, no repairs or detailing is required. The boat has been
fully under cover since day one, and is of minimum weight. Also have spare
trampoline. Does NOT come with spin kit.
Ready to race for competitive club and national racing. Back to Back South
Australian Championship boat. Only sailed twice this current 2007/08 season.

Single Kevlar hulls, which are no longer manufactured, and are almost
indestructible. 2 mains, 3 jibs, new front beam. Galvanised road trailer.
Spinnaker kit add $1500
No worse than 10th, and best at 5th in the last 7 national championships, and
2nd in the Queensland States. Unable to sail due to recent sports injury.
