Karaoke and Disco

Compulsory for all sailors and family (children welcome)- Karaoke and disco night Wednesday night(14th) starting at 7.00pm. Will include platters of finger food. Drinks to be purchased from private bar. There will be a minimal charge to cover food. All states must nominate at least 4 performers, prizes given on the night. See Lisa and Kingsley for more details.

Don't worry if you have missed putting in an early postal entry. Entires will be fine up to and including the 10th of Jan.

AGM

Taipan and Capricorn sailors, Any agenda items for the AGM (which will be conducted at the Belmont Nationals) must be submitted to kingspursch@ yahoo.com. au no later than Sunday November 16. Thanks - Kings (AUS 334)

Boats

The Belmont Nationals are fast approaching and it looks like the 2009 Nationals is going to be the largest fleet the Taipans have seen in a few years. There are quite a few people looking to either purchase boats or lease boats before Belmont. If you know of people who are thinking about selling their boat can you please suggest to them that there are people looking for boats. If you know of boats that haven't been sailed in a while at your club it would be great if you can ask about their intentions of sailing or selling?

Also, a postal vote was sent out recently. If you did not receive this in the mail please reply to myself with your current mailing address and I will send the postal vote to you.

Accommodation will fill up fast so here are the dates and accommodation lists so everyone has a chance to book. The A class worlds are on before us and they have a lot of the accommodation booked up to the 10th
