The Taipan and Capricorn NSW state titles are shaping up nicely for the 27th and 28th of February. There will be some interesting crew combinations on the water with some Olympic level sailors rumoured to be taking Taipans for a spin. Quite a few boats from Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania have their trips to Callala Bay planned. The A Class side of the regatta are expecting attendances on par with their national fleet. Steve Brewin is also organising national coach Mike Fletcher to provide some on the water assessment of boats with Brewin sails. The Taipan and Capricorn Association will be providing some incentives for interstate travellers, and we will be able to refund at least part of your entry fee. The Callala side of Jervis Bay is renowned for exceptional sailing in a sea breeze. Just add a nor easter! |
