|
In Summary |
|
1. Big Head Main |
Higher Aspect Ratio, similar to 4.9. No change to Sail Area |
Comments |
This will be a face lift for the boat and will, if the 4.9 is any indication, lift performance. |
|
2. Cantered or Vertical Hulls Optional |
Allow for wedges to be removed if required. |
Comments |
No significant impact on costs. |
|
3. Self Tacking Jib (or old style) |
Comments |
|
4. Restriction on Boom and Bowsprit materials lifted |
Comments |
|
5. Restriction on Tapeze Line Material Lifted |
Comments |
Using a modern non metallic line means, same strength for only a slightly larger diameter, no metal fatigue, no surprise swims or broken tiller extensions. You can even tie knots in it. |
